will resume posting of pictures on Facebook (GO GET IT, FRIENDSTER STINKS), and then upload the link onto this blog, so that everybody, regardless of whether you've made the right descion to get Facebook or not, can see the photos.

As requested by SX!
The pictures with a distinctively higher quality are from Yeow Peng's phone; whereas the more random ones are from mine.
Btw, go to http://picasaweb.google.com/Sumuraijun, where there are about 4-5 pictures of jump shots, 3-4 random pictures, and around 3 photos of us eating the Body Shop food :D
See if you manage to find the scattered sets! Some don't have titles while some have Anderson Sec below it.

the below post is pictures from 24/10/07! the below below post is detailed, and slightly complicated. here's the simplest version of the itinerary for this Thursday 12 June!
11.15am : Meet at Parkway Parade*
11.20-12.20pm : Lunch! (either at the Banquet in PP or at the huge foodcentre opposite PP.)
12.30pm : Take the $1 shuttle bus to Big Splash!**
We'll reach Big Splash before 1pm, so we'll walk from Big Splash to the carpark B1 outside Big Splash to meet the CIP ppl by 1pm.
Who's definitely NOT going [Jian Shen] [Frederick]
united we stand;divided we eat shit :D at
8:15 PM
does everyone have all the CIP hours they want? maybe not. is majority of us free on 12 June Thursday, 1-4pm? hopefully. does everyone approve of having fun while being productive? unless you're in opposite land.
why do this : to have fun while getting CIP! and we all know how tight our June holiday schedules are, with the homework and etc., so by doing CIP while having fun, we're killing two poisonous (so it's morally justified) millipedes with one shoe.
extra extra extra :
all other details, look at above post! eg. meeting time..how to get to Parkway Parade/Big Splash..who's definitely going...etc.
extra extra extra : be nice and helpful and text me once you know you definitely want to come! (be a darling and include whether you don't mind meeting up for the lunch thing too)
my number's exactly the same.

RULE NO. 1 IS UNAVALIABLE! Alternative plan instead of the one below is on top of this colourful post! :)
HELLO PEOPLE WHO'VE BEEN SEC 3s FOR NEARLY SIX MONTHS NOW!
Be prepared for a mini-reunion ("mini" because 11062107 gang will definitely not be able to make it as a whole) coming your way!
mini-movie time! : one fine afternoon in the third week of june, which starts on 9/6 Monday, we can all come over to my house (details on how to get there coming when date gets nearer) sometime around 4pm, and watch a (preferably horror, but comedy works too) movie!
[I just asked the videoezy guys about Rule No. 1 (the movie by Kelvin Tong) and they said it'd "definitely not come out by June" !! Please let them be wrong.]
3.30pm looks like a very good time to start the movie. your family can also eat dinner with you that way :D
then everyone who can come can bring whatever snacks and drinks they want to potluck (i can provide the movie, the ice and the air-conn.!)
looking forward to providing you with more details :)

HELLO EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS, HANDSOME(now that you've got long pants), INTELLIGENT 11062107 PEOPLE!
As we all definitely know first-hand, sec 3 is turning out to be a year of lotsa homework, staying back to complete projects, CCA (we're going to take over leading roles!)...etc., so when are we possibly going to relax?
Was wondering if anyone had any plans for a REUNION? To get the ball rolling...we could do something like [eat amazing lunch together] [bake cookies together!] [go watch a movie.] as a whole class.
Whatever it is, I'm willing to bet a kaya waffle that we all treasure our Class Tee so much more because it represents a now-extinct identity that us 40 shared.
If anyone has any ideas, plans, suggestions... TAG THE BOARD! (remember the pictures in the posts below? scroll down to be bodyslammed by a blast of nostalgia!)

cancelled! we'll see all of us next year, when we're sec threes! (whee!)
(updated! "6"th Dec, 3am) briefly..
10 Dec, Monday, Palawan Beach. This is a UNOFFICIAL class gathering for the beach-deprived. (we didn't go to changi beach during the class chalet. Boo!)
Confirmed Stuff : +Be at HarbourFront MRT at 10.30am sharp! +Bring at least 1 extra set of clothes, so if you sweat/get wet/get buried in sand, you'll be clean when you go home. +We're going to do whatever impulse makes us do, ideally in groups so we interact and enjoy each other...while we can :D
How to get there 1 : Take MRT to HarbourFront MRT station. 2 : Walk to the third level of VivoCity. 3 : Take the Sentosa Express (the Sentosa Station is at lvl 3 of Vivo) for $3, and drop off at the Beach Station. 4 : At the Beach Station, watch out for signs that'll direct you to Palawan Beach!
Why you should go! 1. To have fun in the sand and sun! 2. To spend your remaining time as a sec 2 meaningfully, and not by playing dota all the time! 3. To meet up with different people (eg. those you don't usually call to go shopping / LAN-ing / CIP-ing with) from 2/1!
Hopefully these 3 reasons are awesome enough for you to tag.
More coming soon, sms me if anything.
Lots of love! and I'll see YOU soon :D

Hello awesome 2/1 '07 people! The pictures from the three days do not accurately represent what everyone did, because I wasn't with everyone at the same time.
Nevertheless, they are pictures of your friends having a wild time, and I hope that when you see them, you can smile, smirk, groan in embarrassment, gape in shock, or even be hit by a truckload of nostalgia.
This is not the whole of 2/1, but our collective spirit shines through Enjoy :D
Note : These photos are in a vague chronological order. Not all have commentary. The "posts" outlining the activities done will be done seperately.
Treasure Hunt! Approximately 5.15pm to about 6.30pm.
Fun = Money? and This game is all about angles (Pool was mistakenly assumed)
Blurry treasure hunters.
Orange Triangle! Blue triangle! What's in the middle?
Finding it super funny that the clues are confusing. 5th Native Light Infantry!
Under the Blue "sea".
Our very helpful food orderer trying on his DeeJay hat.
Unscramble! Eventually ZT would shout out "is the word. . . . Singapore?"
Hard at work.
"What kind of word is this?!?!"
Loitering students are not allowed.
Ooh. Secret hideaway that ain't so secret.
Lovely ladies.
A headless JS means a shorter JS.
Dealin' like a seasoned player.
Now that they're wearing hula "skirts", the guys should perform a hula dance!
Two words : Song bo?
Heading off to the playground before 10pm to watch Boo.
The extra people whom most weren't exactly happy with. (more later.)
Playground shot #1! Remember the "MGS" girls who were singing EVERYWHERE WE GOoOOooO. PEOPLE WANT TO KNOW.
Test shot.
Lots of blocked people hanging about at the back of this interesting structure.
Everyone else either hasn't arrived at the playground, or are in the chalet.
All the way from North Buona Vista to marinate chicken!
Guys in a small bathroom?
Girls in a bedroom?
Cold raw chicken? Sanitized hands?
Acting out violent tendencies. Pull pull pull!
34 & 35!
Bright flash that blinds in the middle of Boo. Anti-climatic, much?
Boo was screened at about 10.15pm to 11.45pm.
The end of a not-so-scary B-grade horror show. Boo to Boo!
36, 35, 34! Coincidence. We're fated to sit next to each other, baby.
Yay!
So fair.
Pantry = unofficial hangout for afterhours munchie-attacks.
Demonstration of Whacko.
Naughty boys deserved to be spanked.
Repulsive ones do too.
About 1am? (My camera's time zone is wack, can't be too sure)
Wei Long and gang serious about the idea of saying "Kao Pei Lah." to counter against the drunk Karoke singers next door.
"Gather around kiddos, and let the story telling begin."

Green Yellow Blue Red. Those who're tired have gone to bed!
Bent people getting bent. Double entendre.
Good shot here. Reflects the complexity of this muscle-testing game.
L for ?
Three of the Four.
Ribbit ribbit.
All it needs is one to turn to the left, one to turn to the right, both to move forward 1.5 inches or so...
From Gay fantasies, we move on to WEDGIES!
Theory to be proved : Girls' butts always look nicer.
Another potential froggie.Hop slither hop. Who remembers where this came from?

"I smell shampoo."
See the bananas on the table behind?
No comment needed.
See above.
5am! Some of us crazies went out to Changi Beach's pathway to walk, waiting for the sunrise.
Really dark out here. Not midnight kind of dark, but a pure darkness that is twilight.
See how things are even with flash?
And the road goes on. Like it never ends. Shudder.
Desolated. The murky waters are off to the right of the picture, and the long shadows cast by the trees make you imagine things.
Shadowplay! JS : "Don't take photos at night."
Bet you can guess who these are.
Probably about 6.15am already.
Nobody gets left behind!
How unhumane. Sekali I disappear. Muahahaha.
Taken only for the pretty satellite up there.
WL : "Aiyah, i help you take lah."
WL : "That's a sotong!"
So...pretty.... *yawn*
Kudos to JS for his heroic sacrifice.

In case you can't recognize them, here's Zul, YP, WX, Syaz, ZT.
Big pants.
Six pac alert!
Eye candy! As in, eye opener.
Long cojoined shadows and one solitary one. Boo hoo.
The lifeguards don't seem to particularly care.
Is Zul that heavy? Judging by that six pac, you really can't tell.
There he goes.
Register 34, 35, 36 again! Eating lunch at the poolside bar while cracking jokes about how the staff are super slow because they're defrosting the frozen food from NTUC.

last minute post. it's "raining" in some areas of singapore ("Admiralty" and "Choa Chu Kang"), both of which are at the west side i think. (Changi = east side)
but to be truthfully realistic..the weather forecast predicts "Thunder Storms" for the next 3 days.
to be optimistically cheerful, the weather forecasts, while scientific, are not all-knowing, and are definitely NOT to be the "yardstick" by which we use to predict our day.
after shrieking in mute for about 10min, the revelation hit me that we can Play in the rain, and Play in the house, and Watch the many movies we have in the fully air-conditioned 2 storey bungalow.
parents/guardians, we will suppress our inner wild childs, and stay far away from the sea (which requires quite a bit of walking from the changi safra) during hide tides, and during the rain.
if there is any information anyone requires that is not in the FAQs below, CALL ME, SMS ME 90622307.

UPDATED! On the 10/11/2007. (briefly. edited what we're eating) UPDATED! On the 9/11/2007. (Please look at the How To Get There at the bottom. CRUCIAL.) UPDATED! On the 28/10/2007. UPDATED! On the 4/11/2007. UPDATED briefly! On the 6/11/2007.
BY THE WAY. Changi Village Food Centre is far away from Changi Safra. Looks like S'pore isn't as small as it can be.
FAQs. Some of the topics might have been mentioned before, but it's summarized in this format to make things clearer.
Note : Some old, irrevelant posts have been deleted. Note : All information is accurate as of 19th October. Note : Notice the things with "tell me if you want it, or it won't be on the shopping list". These are the things that will only be bought IF at least 4 people tell me they don't hate it, and like it.
(post your queries!)
Q : When is it? A : Monday, 12 Nov (starts at around 4pm) to Wednesday, 14 Nov (where we have to check out by 10am). We are at Chalet #35, located relatively near the swimming pool.
Q : What does the $12 cover and not cover? A : Your $12 covers the cost of the chalet which is $231.12, (read below posts) the cost of the BBQ things from EZB ($51.20) (food, charcoal..etc.),cost of the second day's lunch, cost of first day's dinner, cost of all the misc. items from Cold Storage ($146.90) Your $12 does not cover things like the expenses if you go bowling at Changi Safra, rental of skates/bikes..etc. Q : What are we eating? Part I. A : First, here's an overview of the meals. [Day One : Dinner.][Day Two : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner][Day Three : Super Early Breakfast] Yes, breakfast is optional. Breakfast times are flexible. You can eat brunch instead if you want.
Q : What are we eating? Part II. A : Day One's dinner- delivery food (Mac and KFC.) savoured (hehe) at the beach. Day Two's breakunch- Chocolate hazelnut bread. Strawberry jam bread. Biscuits. (There's a microwave if you want to heat leftovers.) Day Two's 3pm food- Cup Noodles, Sandwiches (tuna mayo spread, Cabbages, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Chocolate hazelnut spread, Strawberry jam spread) Day Two's dinner- BBQ. Drinks- The usual. Pepsi, Green Tea, Sprite, F&N Grape, Coke..etc.
: What are we doing? A : Aha. Can you plan fun? Nope. Fun is something that happens, and hopefully, nobody is confused with the notion that I am responsible for your having fun. You are responsible for your own fun. Here are some of the fixed activities that we are doing, in a vague chronological order : Treasure Hunt / Swimming (at the pool) / TV (StarHub Cable TV & DVD movies) / Karoke (either at the KTV rooms, or in the chalet) / Wading (at the beach), Beach Ball Games/ Rollerblading (use those skills!) / Biking, Nightwalk, Card Games / Mahjong (included in the chalet) / Board Games / Games that use your mouth, like 'Truth or Dare', 'I Never' (without drinking), 'Two Truth and One Lie"..etc. / Movie Marathon / Bowling (at Changi Safra). There'll definitely be "Free Time" inbetween said activities for you to mingle / laze around.
Q : What if I can't sleep overnight?! A : If reasoning with your parents don't work..then..ouch. If all else fails, you can choose to go back home after the dinner (there are staff buses leaving Changi Safra, latest bus at 10.30pm), and come back the next day, where you'll reach at like 10am + earliest. And then repeat the same thing that night. Inconvenient? Tell that to your parents. Hopefully they'll be magnanimous and graciously allow you to have fun.
*****Updated on 28/10 Q : What movies are we renting? A : The 3 DVDs we're renting from VideoEzy are : Napoleon Dynamite, Little Miss Sunshine and Boo. Bring your own DVDs too!
Q : How can I contribute / help? A : More ways than one :D You could bring your own DVDs, you could bring extra sleeping bags in case some don't have them, you could bring along balls (eg. volleyball), you could bring along board games! and poker cards!, you could organise activities you want to have (like, waterbomb fights..etc) Please tag the tagboard when you've graciously decided to lend a hand.
*****Updated on 4/11

Tomato Honey Cherry 200g $2.20 First Choice Tomato Red Honey 250g $2.50
Q : What are the prices of the food not from Cold Storage? A : The rest of the BBQ-ed food will be bought from ezb.com.sg. (I'll go to the mainstore to get it) Here's the list, which totals to $28.60.
Chicken Satay 50 sticks $15 Crabsticks 16 pieces $1.60 Fishballs 10x3 balls $(2x3=)6 Firestarters 10 of them $1 Spring Rolls 10x2 of them $(3x2=)6

*****Updated on 9 Nov Q : How to get there? A : For those who don't want to take daddy's / mummy's car, you can take the Green Line (EW line) to Tanah Merah MRT Station, where there will be staff buses leaving the station at certain times. (10am, 10.30am...3.30pm, 5pm..etc.) Check the schedule out here. The pick up point is at EXIT A of Tanah Merah MRT, near the taxi stand. The staff bus, capacity of 40, will leave at 3.30pm sharp. It's scary when you're the only one waiting all the way out there, so make sure you arrive at 3.15 to hunt for the pickup point. The next bus, if you miss the 3.30pm one, will be at 5pm. Oh, please take the 3.30pm one, the "itineray" starts at 4pm. (The bus takes "about 15min".)
Q : What random info is there? A : All information is misc., and accurate. Got them from calling bungalow reception. Whee! #1 : The cutlery provided only extends to spoons, forks and chopsticks. We'll be getting our own disposable cups and plates (for the BBQ). #2 : The Pool closes at 9pm. It opens at 8am on our second day, Tuesday. It opens at 12nn on Wednesday. #3 : They provide a DVD player, Starhub Cable TV and a Karoke VCD player. #4 : The chalet's "doors" are open 24 hrs, and are guarded by guards. This means, that if we want to have a little nightwalk outside the resort, we do not have to rush back at any certain time. #5 : The front desk's operating hours are 9am to 8pm.
Q : Is the food Halal? A : Is the sky blue? Omg, after shopping on sunday, I can spot the Halal symbol from far away already. Everything is definitely Halal. You can kick me if it's not Halal.
Q : (For parents) What numbers can I call? A : My number (i'm MIN YI) is 906 223 07. The Bungalow Reception number is 654 220 36.
Q : (For parents) Can parents come too? A : PLEASE DO, especially if it makes you more confident about allowing your maturing young adult to have an amazing experience with their peers of two whole years. Feel free to call me with any questions you have. Help me help you!
*****Updated on 10/11/2007.
Q : What are we doing? A : The Time / Activity. (Note : "blank" times are free time) Day One 4 - 4.30pm : Order food from McDonalds and KFC! 4.30 - 6pm : Treasure Hunt! 6 - 6.30pm : Losers and the Forfeits! 6.30 pm : Dinner at the beach! 9.30pm : Movie Screen of BOO! 11.15pm : Nightwalk! after that : free time! sleep? watch movies? cards? play T/D? twister? cards? board games? randomNOTE : This isn't the complaint department, and it you really don't have to find fault with everything, and dump all your problems here. How this would really work, would be for you to come up with at least two solutions before complaining about a problem.
Congrats on reading all the way down! You don't have to read the bottom text, it's extra. Here's what I need to do : -Buy the food from Cold Storage and Geylang. -Find out how many people are confirm going. [DONE] -Find out how many people are confirm staying overnight, and on how many nights. [DONE] -Find out if we have to bring our own DVD players. [DONE] -Find out if we have to bring our own pots, pans, kettles. [DONE] -Find out if the tap water is safe. [DONE] -Confirm the movie list, and see if anyone has them so we can save on the movie rentals. [DONE] -Post prices of the list of food I got down at Cold Storage [DONE] -Find out whether Changi Village Food Centre is within walking distance. [DONE] -Help Hilmie collect the rest of the class fund. [DONE]
This is so exciting.

Class Pictures from 13/11/2007. I had a sudden bout of amnesia and forgot to tell everybody that we'll be taking photos tomorrow, on Friday, with our class Tees too.
Whoops! Here are the pretty / handsome / beautiful shots. In chronological order with some very subjective commentary.
Recess Time in 2/1.
Empty seats mean Filled seats in the Canteen.
Surprise shot after English class.
Meng Hong and his visualiser. Photographic evidence of him mauling the thing.
Nope. Not dancing. They do make a pretty picture though.
Again?
Row #1!
Row #1!!
Guo Wei. Hahahahaha.
Row #2!
Row #4!
Row #3! ( as taken by daniel)
Prologue shot.
Prologue shot #2.
Shot #1!
Shot #2! (are JS and fred doing what i think they're doing?)
Shot #3! The "act-dao" photo. Guess fred and JS don't get what DAO means. Because they're kissing.
Shot #4! The "two-one" shot.
Shot #5! Ignore the monkey with two hands and two fingers sticking out.
Candid shot of people "dispersing"
Yeah, like we can't do that.
Solo shot of one of the four (Syafiqah, Jia Le, Yanru, JW) people not in the pics.
That's all folks! Get ready for tomorrow, where more cam-flashing action is coming your way! Think of poses, we may just ask you guys to do "sexy"....
After all, we ARE SEXY 1/1 / 2/1. REMEMBER???

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. THE CHALET HAS BEEN BOOOOKKKEEEDDDDDDD.
The pictures are in reverse chronological order. Three in total. The first is at the bottom.
The "receipt". Note the Check-in and Check-out 'dates'.
Terms & Conditions. (full of loopholes~)
Chalet #35 (go to previous post, and check the map to see where it is : near the swimming pool, reception area and the playground) for 12 Nov and 13 Nov.
to elaborate on some of the pics....
See the picture that says : Card Payment Confirmation Reference Number 0000033289 Amount (S$) 331.12 ? Chillax. The extra hundred dollars is the DEPOSIT only.
Right now, Hilmie has collected roughly $300+ from you guys. Thanks for being so co-operative!!
The total 'cost' for the chalet booking is ($115+ x 2=)$231.12Our budget for food is currently unavaliable. It'll be out when the class fund is full.
___
See the picture with the Terms & Conditions? Here's what Point 3 or 4 says : "e. Catering of food by outside caterers is prohibited."
Haha. But does that stop us from ordering Macdonalds / Canadian Pizza / KFC and picking it up from the nearby ECP, then eating it in the bungalow?
N-O. NO.
Btw, this is not the only loophole found in the Terms & Conditions : Rules & Regulations.
They won't be listed. Find me privately if you have a burning desire to find out. Putting it up here may cause discomfort. (Ooh, scary.)
So far so good. A tiny speed bump might be food; lotsa mixed opinions regarding where we should get it from, and when we should eat.
(Very interesting, some don't want breakfast, some want brunch, some want breakfast.) ____ If you have any suggestions, comments, queries, doubts to be clarified, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO FIND ME, IN PERSON or ON MSN.
Feedback is greatly appreciated. Sometimes when you think everything is okay and fine, you won't be able to see the parts that aren't fine. so tell me when it's not. please and thank you!

URGENT. 11/9/2007 10.03pm.
(bottom post about Booking and Clarification of what 3D2N actually means.)
Instead of costing $108 /night, Changi Safra has included GST, upping the price to $7 more, $115 / night.
W/o GST, both nights cost $216, W GST, they're $230.
Photographic Evidence. the Booking page.
chalet #35. check it out. it's near the pool + playground.
$115.56, the price when GST is added.
This is what 3D2N means.
This is from the website. Where they left out the GST part.
End of Photographic Evidence--
With our estimate budget of $480 (plus minus around. (+) teachers sponser abit? (-)some ppl don't see why they should pay?) we will have est. $250 left for food and misc.
Here's some ways we can make this work.
1) We could potluck for BBQ, and for the second day as well. Meaning : NTUC will still get a visit from us, for the things that people can't make / can't really buy, BUT we won't have to buy as many things from supermarkets because we'd be bringing foodstuff. Examples are : bread, cereal, soft drinks, potato chips, fruits, fishballs, biscuits...etc.
2) We could ONLY order mattresses on the second night. Why? First night, people are probably not going to have alot of sleep with all the excitment flying about. Whereas on the second night, more people would give in to sleep. (remember your p5 camp?)
3) IF we are unable to potluck for two days, we could order junk food. What? Potluck = everybody helps out & brings food. If the food cannot last that long... then we could order. Not exactly very cheap.
Cheap Pizza - Canadian Pizza. 2 pizzas for the price of 1 (eg. Xtra Large 14inches $29.90) On their website they didn't confirm if they delivered, but there's one outlet in Changi Village. (hmmmm. walk in groups. big groups.)
Macdonalds - "Minimum order of $18 applies for Jurong Industrial Area, Changi/Loyang and Tuas. $2 surcharge applies for every delivery order. "-from the Macdonalds Singapore website. We could order Dinner Extra Value Meals. (example : Chicken McNuggets Meal $6.10)
KFC - "Minimum order of $12 (excludes GST) applies. $2 delivery charge applies for all orders. "-from KFC Singapore website. KFC has a 'Super Tuesday' offer every tuesday. (duh :D) Super Tuesday means you get 8 pcs of chicken, 6 nuggets, Large Coleslaw and Large Mashed Potato for the cheap (?) price of $19.20.
Btw, we confirm cannot have catering. It's very expensive and calls for a minimum of 30+ ppl at least. This conclusion was arrived at after surfing 15 over catering websites. (photos up next time.)
UNLESS YOU know of a cheap caterer that has good quality. Cheap = Max. $7 per head, Min. required amount of people is 20.
Till next time.

TEN OUT OF TWENTY-SEVEN (ALMOST 25% LEFT) CHALETS LEFT TO BOOK.
RED ALERT. RED ALERT.
CHALET WILL BE BOOKED WHEN AN ADULT IS HOME.
SAY HELLO TO 2 NIGHTS AT CHANGI SAFRA.
---btw, here are the so-called hours we will be spending over this little "holiday".
DAY ONE 12/11 : LUNCH will be settled by yourself. Check-in time 2pm. Therefore, 3pm we will start the "activities". [any suggestions?] Then comes Night time; BBQ for the first night.
DAY TWO 13/11 : Morning. Some ppl want breakfast, some want brunch, some want none. (anyway) Lunch. Then afternoon. Then night time. Dinner!
DAY "THREE" 14/11 : Morning. We must evacuate between 9-10am. Then, when we're all still feeling like partying...we'll go ice-skating at Fuji Ice Palace, directly outside Jurong East MRT! Yay!
[therefore, about 2 breakfasts (counting 3rd day. should it be excluded?) 2 lunches (counting 3rd day. should it be excluded?) and 2 dinners.]
[also, the idea of getting Catered Food + Potluck (everybody bring abit of something, like last year's BBQ) for the second day's lunch is quite tempting.. any suggestions / comments?]
(NOTE : Changi Safra has staff buses leaving for Tanah Merah Mrt station (get the schedule here ) at 10am, 10.30am, 11am...etc.)
(NOTE 2 : For people who cannot stay overnight, you can still enjoy the dinners, esp. the one on the first night aka BBQ, before going home from Tanah Merah Mrt Station. Changi Safra also offers staff buses from Changi Safra to TM Mrt Station. Check the schedule. (last bus 10.30pm) )

Oops. Long time no update. My bad.
BTW.
(1) If you CANNOT / DONT WANT to stay overnight, you can definitely stay for dinner (BBQ first night!) and then go home.
Be warned though, Changi Safra can only be reached Tanah Merah MRT Exit A OR From Car, from PIE or ECP. OR, you could take the Staff Bus to Tanah Merah MRT station. At night, it leaves hourly at 8.45pm, 9.45pm and 10.30pm.
__
(2) Don't know how to swim? CHILLAX. (Chill + Relax, geddit?)
You're probably not the only one. Even if you are, we're NOT going to swim in the beach. We might do it in the pool if we're bored shitless or if we just want to show off our Speedos.
but Anyway. for those who WANT to enjoy the sea, chillax too. We're NOT swimming, but that doesn't mean we're not going INTO the sea. We could sit in the shoreline, play games on the sand, and kick sand at each other. Or we could just laze around, knee-deep in the water, enjoying hydro-theraphy..
__
(3) Don't want to go because you have this weird and totally false prediction it'll be B-O-R-I-N-G?
You'll never know if you don't go ;D
__
(4) Only can come for the last day, aka 14/11, which is like, almost NOT part of the itinery.
Just go! Even though the last day is kinda like unofficial day, meaning NO teachers, (whereas on the other two days, there might be teachers. we can't BARR them from coming. that sounds wrong.) it is still a day (maybe the final day) where you can bond with 1/1 '06; 2/1 '07 people.
There will only be one whole-class gathering to wrap up the two years we shared. Make it worthwhile. Bring Beer. Kidding. About the beer. Not about the worthwhile thing.
__
(5) Girls, who CAN'T swim. CAN'T, not DUNNO or DUNWAN.
Uh. You know what to do right? For the sake of the guys, shall not post suggestions or remedies or various brand names. (have i given away too much?)
(6) Your parents don't want you to sleepovernight!
Please, for the sake of your friends who would want you to be there, sharing midnight stories and moonlight games, DONOTARGUEWITHTHEM. There's a huge difference between arguing and negotiating.
Promise them you'll call at like, 11pm to show them you're okay, you're fine, you're getting sleepy, so could i please call you in the morning mum?
Promise them that you'll take care of yourself...etc.
Let them plant GPS devices on you, if that's what they want.
Assure them that you will not do whatever they don't want you to (eg. Swimming alone, Going to Changi Village (alone or otherwise), Sleeping without bathing..etc.)
__
(7) You broke your foot / fractured your arm / got some kind of injury to your body.
Poor baby. Now. If your parents allow you to go, and you do want to go, THEN GO!
Being invalid doesn't mean you'll have less fun. Besides, the only person who can create fun is yourself. You'll only have as much fun as you'll let yourself.
You could suntan, you could take photos, you could hobble around and play games, you could demand to be served the BBQ-ed food like a king / queen, you could watch the StarHub Cable TV that Changi Safra has.
__ More next time. It's 2.12am!

Pls read post before this as well.
UPDATE : Booking of chalet for 2 nights, (12 NOV and 13 NOV) will definitely be done by next week, Tues 11 Sept. As of today, (8/9/2007) there are only TWELVE of the TWENTY-SEVEN chalets left. less than 50%.
Here's the photographic evidence.
(Look at the blank boxes under 12-13 NOV. ) (BTW. Orange is Off-Peak. Red is Peak. Yellow / "B" is Booked. Grey is Not Booked YET.)
REMINDER : Ticket collection will last from Monday 10 Sept to Friday 15 Sept. Carried out by the qualified #17, though he doesn't know it yet. To be safe, $12 from everybody will be collected first. But I don't think we'll need much more than that.
BREAKDOWN : Here's a rough breakdown of where your money is going to go to.
$480 = $12 x 40 (total from *2/1 people) $480 - $(108x2) = $216 [for the 2 nights booking] $264 = Remainder for Food, Linen Mattresses+Blankets+Pillows ($2 / day), 3kg of Charcoal + 5 Starters + 1 Matchbox ($5.00 / set), etc.
NOTE : Not sure how many mattresses we want, so in the calculations, 4 mattresses (therefore, $2 x 4 x 2nights) = $16.For the charcoal thing, we'll confirm be getting one set ($5) and maybe while shopping we also have to get more starters and more matches. (est. $5) (Remember last year? ;D)
Minusing off the $16 + $5 + (estimated) $5 from $264 = $238.
$238 is for Food probably. BBQ food, breakfasts, money-for-us-to-order-stuff, etc. (some ppl actually DO eat breakfast)
Hope this is not too difficult to understand. Save your braincells for memorising History.
Discussion on (1) whether $238 is too little will probably be after the first ticket collections. and (2) whether we are going to be thick-skinned and beg our beloved teachers for some financial support and (3) confirm that we're having a BBQ. (duh)
SUMMARY : Basically, this post was about (1) How we have to book fast. (2) Why at least $12 per person is needed. (3) The rough breakdown of the total $480. (4) Preview of next Discussion (either in class, OR on the blog OR personal survery)
_________ * Uh, yes. 40 ppl. Why 40 ppl? Because handing $12 over to #17 is mandatory for all the ppl who wear a 2/1 class tee every Friday.
This is to hopefully encourage those who are not excited about going (propaganda will be included in another post) to go, because, Hey, since you've alr paid, why not just go?

{pics below.}
THIRD WEEK : 12/11 to 14/11.
32 out of 38 voted for this.
Btw, it's SOMEONE'S birthday on the 14th. SOMEONE, chill.
I know i said it'd be 3D2N, but i lied. Haha!
Here goes : On the last "day" which is 14/11, Wednesday, we have to leave the chalet by 9am. So at 9am, the "day" would be over non-officially. After that, we can split and choose to go somewhere, as a big big big group.
We could go iceskating / moviemarathon-ing / SHOPPING (hehe) / or just a simple lunch.
Note : We'd have our 'luggage' with us at the same time; so maybe activities like shopping wouldn't be very convinient (sob.)
____
Anyway. More elaboration on the 3D2N thing. On 12/11 aka Results Appeal Day, the earliest check-in time is 2pm. So that's the start of the chalet thing.
Then comes Night Time of 12/11. Then morning of 13/11. Then afternoon of 13/11. Then night time of 13/11. Then, it's the morning of 14/11, where we have to leave very quickly.
NOTE : Having fun with the rest of the class as they go iceskating / whatever is not compulsory. However, it is very sad if you can't make it. IT'S THE LAST TIME WE'RE EVER GOING TO BE WITH EACH OTHER! BE A MAN! DO THE RIGHT THING! (if you're a lady; you already are doing the right thing ;D)
___
here's something to perk you up. (or at least, make you despo to go)
If you go, your $10 -/+ "ticket" won't be wasted.
Assuming we don't dare to ask our teachers for "generous donations", then we'd have 40 x $10 = $400 total. (tentative. maybe $12?)
And why issit confirm $400 total? Because if you're a part of 2/1, if you have a class tee with a WE ROCK WE RULE YOU STONE YOU DROOL on the left of your stomach, then $10 is what is going to be out of your wallet.
___
What do you want as activities? What queries / suggestions / clarifications do you have?
Type them out on the CBox, either as yourself (be a wo/man! do the brave thing!) or anonymous.
___
CLASS PHOTOS : Random pictures from today! No one is safe...

YAY!
1) Mrs Wong has given birth to a beautiful (duh, who does Ashlynn get her genes from?) baby girl! Looking super cute albeit the suction-ed head.
but that's not the point of the CCB aka ClassChaletBlog!
2) After a short class discussion, CHANGI SAFRA has won hands down, no contest over the ulu Loyang Aloha. So I guess we're going to that fantastic place to have a 3D2N stay that will, ideally, make us love 1/1 '06 2/1 '07, even more than we already do.
___
Mei Na has spotted a problem, and we're super lucky that she did. (btw, for the rest of us who have stamps on our eyes, this info is on the paper about our STREAMING INFO.)("I oso dunno.")
We CANNOT have the class chalet on the second nor third week after the last day of school (aka OCT 25TH.) because on NOV 5 & NOV 6 is our results release, & appeal. (aka, Week 2 of Last Day of School) And NOV 12 is the results appeal. (aka, Week 3 of Last Day of School)
__
But that's okay- the only thing this streaming thing possibly affects is MONEY. Why Money?
Because the rest of NOV is PEAK season.
UNLESS, UNLESS! Unless we go to Class Chalet straight after Results Appeal.
NOTE : This is assuming that at least one person will appeal for their results.
Options regarding dates below below.
__
BTW, i thought the Peak / Off-Peak difference would be tiny, but it isn't, It's anything but.
Off-Peak = $108 / night. Peak = $300/ night.
Meaning = $600 / 2 nights. = (uh...) $15 for 40 ppl, excluding food.
___
OUR OPTIONS :
1) Go for Class Chalet one week after school ends. Off-Peak ($108/night). BAD : One week of seperation isn't enough! GOOD : Attendance confirm will be full.
2) Go for Class Chalet on the third week after school ends. Off-Peak ($108/night)
["Isn't the appeal date on the NOV 12?" "Clever boy/girl. But guess what, we're lucky (surprise, surprise). Because the small amount of people who will appeal will not be appealing until 2.30pm, and the check-in time for Changi Safra is 2pm earliest. Therefore, after appealing, you can take a cab with your friends / carpool, and still go for the class chalet." "Okay. Go on the second week!!"]
BAD : The small amt. of ppl might need to rush. GOOD : It's our last chance to pay $108/night in NOV. The timing is not bad. People CANNOT go overseas 'cos siblings still having O's, AND we will be 'appealing' or whatever.
3) Go for Class Chalet on any other week (eg. 4th / 5th...etc. week). Peak ($300 / night)
BAD : EXTREMELY expensive. Double the price. ($108/night = $6.40 exclu. food)($300/night = $15/night exclu. food) GOOD : No rush at all.
THE CHOICE IS YOURS. (for those who "anything oso can", #2 is suggested and recommended.)
___
Enough of "problems".
Brief summary of what was decided on 22/8.
Location : Changi Safra.
__
What's next! -discussion of DATES. -discussion of FOOD. (eg. takeaway? cook? order? coffeeshop? bbq? (YESYES) potluck? steamboat? starve?) -discussion of "TICKET" fares. (if it's the $108/night, the max. price will definitely be below $18.)

things to be settled with everybody 1. date 2. FOOD! (since it's 3D2N, we'll be having 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners) 3. activities! (not that none has been thought of ;D)
1. TANAH MERAH SAFRA RESORT AND COUNTRY CLUB. Be prepared to fall in love with singapore's best bungalows. We have to agree on a date-FAST.
Here are the 2 nights, spanning over 3 weeks; the first week being the first week of our holidays, the second being the second week of our holidays...etc. -29, 30 OCT. Mon-Wed(morning). Off-Peak. -5, 6 NOV. Mon-Wed(morning). Off-Peak -12,13 NOV. Mon-Wed(morning). Off-Peak. (*)
And 2/1? WE ARE LUCKY ASSES. For the rest of NOV, all the other dates are PEAK, which is like a hundred dollars more.
Need a graph to understand? Go to the safraresortandcountryclub aka SRCC website here to see the Peak / Off-Peak dates. Go here for the Peak / Off-Peak prices. Go here for the map of the bungalows.
__________ (*) this is where it gets a'lil confusing. (for me, at least) check-in time is 2pm to 7pm. check-out time is 9am to 10am. we'll be booking for 2 NIGHTS, so on the third day (leave by 10am!), we'll leave and either go home, OR (don't be a loser, join the class and go) ICESKATING.
Why iceskating? 1) On weds only, Fuji Ice Palace at Jurong East has this promo. where students only need to pay the price of one hour, to enjoy the whole day. 2) Super fun. If, like majority of our beloved class, you don't really know how to skate, it's okay! Live and learn! If it seems scary, it's because you don't want to fall. But falling is fun, and skating is even more fun. 3) Because we can't bear leave our good friends, and go home. Fullstop. ________
more on the subject of DATES soon.
i think having it on the THIRD WEEK (12,13,14 of NOV) of "freedom" is the most suitable date. not too soon, not too "far off".
when the majority of the class can make it, then we'll set the date. worst come to worst, we have it on the first week (so soon?!?!?!), because i think everyone can definitely make it.
